  2. 3 ingredient peanut butter cookies. One cup of sugar, one cup of creamy peanut butter, one egg. Mix all ingredients together, roll the dough into walnut size balls, press the balls flat with a for dipped in sugar, bake for 10-12 minutes in a pre heated 350F oven.

  3. A dessert:- chocolate tarts – grab some ready made pastry, rolos and chocolate buttons, make mini patty cases in a mini muffin tray, and bake with a roll in the middle, then put a chocolate button on top,
Make a milky hot choc by melting chocolate into milk and add cream to the top
Vegetable quiche? (Ready made pastry, that yummy veg mix and egg)
    Potatoe skins?

  4. @Barry Lewis – it would be cool and so so helpful for some meal recipes that only require a microwave as a heat source. It will help with uni next year

  5. 3 ingredient Confetti Beans!
    2 cans of black beans
1 bag of frozen peppers and onions
    A bunch of minced garlic
Try to get the peppers and onions that have all different colors of peppers. Saute them until soft, then add the garlic, cook until fragrant. Drain the cans of beans, add to the peppers, onions and garlic, cook about 10 mins until the beans are soft.

Alternatively, if you want it spicy, skip the garlic and add a small can of Rotelle, which is basically diced spicy peppers and tomatoes. Or add a small jar of medium salsa.

3 ingredient dessert! Blueberry pancake cupcakes!
A box of just add water pancake mix
    Frozen blueberries
    Icing sugar
Follow the directions on the box to make pancake mix, use a bit less water so it's a bit thicker. Use a non stick muffin tin, drop a healing spoonful of frozen blueberries in each, fill 2/3 the way with the batter. Bake at 350F, or the UK equivalent, for 15 to 18 mins. Let them cool a bit, pop them out of the muffin tins and dust with icing sugar. You should probably grease or spray the tins first.

3 ingredient boozy drink, Grown Up Shirley Temple!
    Ginger ale
    Cherry flavored vodka
Grenadine or a jar of maraschino cherries
Make sure all the ingredients are well chilled
Add 8oz of ginger ale to a tall glass. Add a shot of cherry vodka. Add a splash of grenadine. Or add a couple of maraschino cherries with a splash of their juice. Enjoy this drink with caution! You don't really taste the vodka. I serve it over ice which isn't but is a 4th ingredient, like water. Leave the vodka out for a regular Shirley Temple for the kids.

Sorry, I got nothing for a 3 ingredient main.

  6. Preserved mustard greens, chicken, seasoned with pepper

Cook the chicken in a tiny bit of olive oil, then add the mustard greens and a bit of black pepper until greens are warm and soft. Serve.

If you like pickles/sauerkraut/etc., you'll love this

  7. For banana bread, use brown bananas you might otherwise toss out. They're easier to mash and the bread comes out more moist.

  8. Spice cake mix+15oz can pumpkin puree+walnuts= pumpkin spice muffins
Smoked sausage (rope)+bell peppers + a jar of chunky salsa=sausage and peppers
New potatoes+ olive oil+ hidden valley ranch dry mix= roasted ranch potatoes
    Vodka+grapefruit juice+ salted rim= 😋

  9. STOP! You've used a wooden spoon 6:36 to stir raw chicken, then placed it 6:51 on your wooden cutting board? Do we need an EHO to come round and give lessons?

  10. Pizza stuffed chicken, funfetti fudge (hint cake mix+ sweetened condensed milk + melted white chocolate ), peach spritzer, stuffed mushrooms

  11. These videos inspired me to do easy recipes! My favorite one that I’d love to see you try is a ravioli bake (or lazy lasagna) it’s just 25 (approx) Oz of ravioli (I would suggest one with some type of meat), 24 Oz of marina sauce, and 2 cups shredded mozzarella. Layer it (sauce, ravioli, cheese) in a greased 9×13 baking dish and bake at 400°F for 30 minutes covered and 15 minutes uncovered.
    Super easy dinner!!!

  12. That looked fun!
Drink: sugar, water and limes for limeade
Main: apricot jelly, Russian dressing, and chicken tenders all baked together make sweet and sour chicken
Dessert: one can of condensed milk, one can of evaporated milk and the juice of four limes makes thick cold pudding when blended together

  13. I have given you this 3 ingredient recipe for apple pie before (But you have probably missed it amongst all the other comments), so I'm going to give it to you one more time. 🙂

My grandmothers apple pie recipe would be perfect for one of these 4321 episodes.

It's very easy, all you need is apples, butter and sponge cake mix. (I don't know what your sponge cake mixes are like in the UK, but here in Sweden they are 420 grams and all you have to add is water, when you make a sponge cake that is. Which we are not, so no water for us.)

Now, peal, core and quarter your apples and then slice them in to semi thin slices.
Add the apple slices to the bottom of a baking pan (about 30×25 cm), pour the cake mix on top of the apples and then slice/plane butter with a cheese slicer and cover the entire pan with a sheet of butter about 1-2 mm thick. Put it in the middle of the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 25 minutes.

It's one of the tastiest apple pies you will taste and it would go great with some custard or ice cream, but you will have to add that off camera if you want to stick to three ingredients.

  14. That was a great 15 minute Pasta dish. Use tagliatelle, bacon and frozen cream spinach and you have a great other pasta dish

  15. Banana bread just takes FOREVER to bake. I was really surprised when you said only 25 min. I like to cheat and make muffins instead

  16. Try 2 ingredient recipe: ICE CREAM + SELF RISING FLOWER = BREAD 😀 *melt the ice cream (vanilla or any flavor) mix it with the flower and bake for 40 min. It works and it's tasty lol

  17. best cheese ball i make is 1 block of cream cheese mixed with mixed half a bag of mixed mexican chedder cheese and 1 bunch of chopped green onions, i finish it off by mixing them up, shaping it into a ball and adding the rest of the bag of mexican cheese around the ball. use it on chips or crackers!!!!

  18. Peach cobbler dump cake. 1 stick of butter, 2 cans peach pie filling, yellow cake mix. Dump peach pie filing in cake pan, evenly spread cake mix over the top, then cube the butter and place it randomly but evenly on top of cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees f until golden and bubbly.

  19. Can you please do an Australian 4321.
Starter – Cheesymite scrolls (cheese, vegemite and puff pastry)
Main – Sausage sandwich – with onions or tomato sauce or some sort of meat pie.
Dessert – Tim Tam/Milo thickshake OR a golden gaytime (toffee icecream, chocolate, honeycomb in a pop)
PLEASE :):) I have watched you for years and years.

  20. Lasagna
    1. Frozen cheese ravioli 2.pasta sauce with vegetables 3. Ground sirloin
    Cherry top drink
    1. Maraschino cherries in syrup, 2.whipping cream from a spray can 3. Lemon Lime soda
    Fruit pizza
    1. Crescent dough in a can (don’t know if you have that in England?)
    2. Fruit pie filling
    3. Vanilla icing or vanilla pudding
New Orleans red beans and rice
    1. Canned red beans (kidney or other)
    2. Old Bay Seasoning
    3. Rice

  21. Nice challenge!
Starter: portobello mushrooms filled with grated cheese (OR Mozzarella) and chorizo (in the oven)
Main: Creamed spinach pasta with a fried egg on top
Desert: Oven-baked pear with chocolate sauce (made of chocolate and cream)
Drink: Hot (clear) apple juice with cinnamon and a slice of orange

I am not sure if I remember correctly but I don't think you have done any of these recipes yet. Good luck Barry! 😊

  23. When I clicked link for merch .. it didn’t work 😢. Do you ship ti USA ? I would LOVE the pink mug I saw in a video. How can I get one ?

  24. Starter bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers. Main, sea scallop alfreado linguini. Dessert, breakfast pigs in a blanket. Drink, a dark and stormy.

  25. Gert lush mate. Here's an idea! (This is me coming up with something. It probably won't work.)

    1)A few egg whites.
    2)Quite a lot of chocolate
    3)Self raising flour.

Melt the chocolate until it's… urm… well… melted
Then, take off the hob and mix in some egg whites. Fold in until it's all… uhh… folded in? ( I'm not a chef.) Finally, add in the self raising flour and mix. Chuck in the oven and eat once cooked.

I hope that this doesn't poison you, I've not tried it myself. Yet. That's why I don't know the quantities!!

  26. Jalapeño Poppers!
Cut the top of the pepper off and cut in half lengthwise. Scoop out ribs and seeds.
    Fill with cream cheese.
    Wrap with streaky (American-style) bacon.
Bake at 375°F (which I think is about 190°C) until the bacon is crispy.

  27. the dogs are like: "oh no. everyone is gone again. Now we have to spent our day with this lunatic who speaks to himself all day long!"

  28. I would like to offer a 3 ingredient recipe, or 4 if you choose. It's a dessert recipe.

1 bag milk chocolate chips melted
    1 tsp. Coconut oil
    Crispy rice cereal

Melt chocolate and coconut oil in microwave, stir in enough crispy rice, start with 2 cups. (You may need to add more cereal to make sure all of melted chocolate is full of crispy rice cereal). Make sure every rice piece is coated.
Spread out on parchment paper about 1/4 inch thickness or drop by the spoon full into mounds. Then put in fridge to set up. If you spread it you will break it up into pieces to serve.

I added a drop of peppermint oil to dark chocolate chips for a wonderful treat.

Or you could add a spot of peanutbutter to the melted chocolate to make a reese's peanut butter cup flavor.

This makes a light, airy, crispy treat that is very hard to stop eating. We love it more then rice crispy treats made with marshmallows.

  29. Oh Barry, you've made my Christmas! I work for the company who makes Newman's own and my colleague developed the Caesar dressing for the Newman's range. So glad you enjoyed it!

We're doing some charity work with Newman's in the spring 😁😇

  30. You should make "chocolate oreo truffles" its cream cheese, oreos, and chocolate on the outside. The fast way is put the oreos through a food processor. But if you don't have that you can do it the hard way. (which is separate the cream from the center of the oreos and put the cookie bit into a bag and crush them. Then mix the cream back into it.) And then mix the cream cheese with the crushed up oreos. Make them into balls. Put them into the fridge or freezer to harden up. Then you put the chocolate in a double boiler and and melt the chocolate. And put your cream cheese and oreos balls into the chocolate and coat the outside of them. A simple easy chocolate dessert.

  31. Sausage balls! 1Lb raw bulk pork sausage (you could get a flavoured one if you like), 2 cups ‘Bisquick’ original baking mix and 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese. Mix, scoop into balls (about golf ball size) and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. It’s like a tender, cheesy meaty piece of heaven that we have every Christmas. Happy Christmas Lewis Family!

  32. I just realized, if cake mix requires you to use eggs, oil and water. is it literally just flour, baking powder/soda, salt, sugar and some dried out flavouring?

  33. I think you should replace the fresh mozzarella in the tomato recipe with low moisture mozzarella. you can see by the pool of oil that it was heated to the point of the fats separating. not necessarily bad, just too hot for fresh mozzarella.

  34. Dessert: My sister used to make easy cinnamon buns. Basically biscuit dough (not sure what you'd call it in England, because it's not cookie dough, but to make the little bread; Pillsbury), cinnamon, and caramelized sugar. She'd caramelize the sugar, let it cool down, roll the buns in it, then sprinkle with sugar. Sometimes, we'd use brown sugar instead. They were an easy, quick little treat, sometimes.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

  35. Something that goes down well with me and my Girlfriend are Runny Egg Burgers
Get some of that meat and veg mince ( or just regular mince if you want) and form it into some rings on a baking tray ( we normally find one pack of mince , about 500g, is enough for one burger each)
cook in the oven until cooked (duh) and then crack an egg in the middle and return to the oven for 5 minutes.
after that put it in a bun, put it on a plate and eat.
egg yoke will still be runny but it wont all burst everywhere when you pick it up.
Ingredients are 1. Mince 2. egg 3. Bun

  36. Fruit cake!! 1kg mixed dried fruit, 3 cups self raising flour and 3 cups of orange juice.
Bake in oven at 125c for 2.5 hrs. Delish!!

  37. I love this series! It gives me a lot of ideas and inspiration for cooking! Cheers for this series ^v^
on a side note: It throws me off every time you say "look at that charring!" when you look at browned food.
Charring means burnt. Charred chicken is usually a lot more burnt/black on the outside.
Your chicken is beautifully browned, not charred!

  38. My favourite 3 ingredient recipient is for ice cream, it makes an incredibly rich and creamy (ice crystal free) base for whatever ice cream you can imagine, I usually add Biscoff biscuits or mint extract and chocolate chips.
1- Pour 600ml of double cream into a bowl and whip until thick
2- Stir in a whole can of condensed milk (397g) until combined and no lumps of cream remain
3- Add in whatever flavouring you want, for example vanilla extract, chocolate chips, crushed up biscuits, caramel sauce etc.
4- Pour into a container and freeze until set.

  39. Here’s one for you to try!! 3 ingredient banana cake/bread!!
*1 box cake mix (if any flavour you like – we used lemon cake)
    *3-4 very rip bananas
*2 large free range eggs (or 3 medium)
Follow baking temp/times on box and check with a skewer.
Banana cakes/loaves are usually quite moist but they firm up as they cool!!

Ours turned out beautiful and it’s the quickest way I’ve ever banana cake!!!!

  40. Every summer we always make this super simple yet delish refreshing milkshake, it can be banana, strawberry or even oreo!!
Just get a bunch of bananas, strawberries or oreos, vanilla ice cream, and milk and whizz it together and its amazing with whipped cream on top🥛🥛👌👌🍫

  41. Drink- blackberry bramble (without the creme thing)
    Dry gin
    Ice would make it 4

    Starter – stuffed pepper
    Bell pepper
    Cous cous

Main – tuscan bean soup (inspired by the baxters tin of it I had for lunch lol)
    Can of mixed beans
    Tinned tomatoes
    Smoky bacon, hopefully it'd work

    Dessert – limoncello
    Limoncello liquor
    Victoria sponge
    Whipped cream

  42. Custard pudding= tin of condensed milk, same quantity of normal milk and 4 eggs in a Bain Marie 😋

With a touch of nutmeg 🤫

  43. Hi, These are my favourite 3 ingredient recipes.

    Drink – Homemade fizzy drink
    Diluting Juice/squash – Any flavor
    Sparkling water OR lemonade
Ice, mint or any other finishing "Garnish"
Just make the diluting juice but with sparkling water or lemonade instead of normal water.

Starter – crispy potato cubes with bacon (My mums favourite dish)
    Potatos – cubed
    Bacon lardons
    Herb infused oil
Cook/fry the potatoes in the herb infused oil when cubed then add the bacon once the potatoes have started to soften. Cook until both the potatoes and bacon has crispened up. You can cook in the oven or fry in a pan

Main – Bubble & squeak with chicken/turkey/beef/pork or any vegetarian alternative
    Mashed potatoes
    Mixed vegetables
    Meat of choice
Make the mash and cook the vegetables and slap them in a bowl and mix them all together.
    Cook your meat of choice
Fry the bubble and squeak in a frying pan until crispy

    Dessert – Cake pops
    Premade cake
    premade icing
Crumble the cake and then put in the icing until a dough
Roll them into a ball and put them in the fridge until hardened
Roll out the fondant and wrap the cake pops in the icing!

I know you may not use these but they are some of my favourite recipes to make and im passing them on to you

  44. For some reason those banana slices sitting on top of the cake made me feel uncomfortable 😂. Another great video though Barry! 😁

  45. Bite size pizza: ready to bake biscuits in a tube, pizza sauce from a can or jar and cheese. Bake according to biscuit directions or until firm to the touch and cheese is melted. So good, you’ll be surprised.

  46. Barry, add a box or bottle of something is not as challenging as adding 3 scratch ingedients. Can you try a bit harder please ?

  47. Coffee cake in america is cake for serving with coffee and not actual coffee in it. would love a combo of the two tbh, that streusel in the American version is amazing but with some coffee flavored cake, mmm.

  48. I love your videos! As a severely visually impaired person they are a huge help! MUCH LOVE!!
Anyway, for this dessert, you’ll need… 1 box of Angel Food cake mix and 1 20oz can of pineapple chunks.

Directions (copied and pasted from the official Betty Crocker website… Sorry) Heat oven to 350°F.
In large bowl, beat dry angel food cake mix and crushed pineapple on low speed 30 seconds; beat on medium speed 1 minute. Pour into ungreased 10-inch tube pan.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until deep golden brown. Cool completely upside down as directed on cake mix box, about 2 hours.

  49. It should be a crime to make banana bread without using black, overripe bananas. It makes a HUGE difference in the bread.
