I just want people to enjoy food, to
share it together, to feel very much fulfilled and happy, and joyful. My role as the executive chef is to
facilitate in whatever way I can. The approach to food here now is really driven by our UBC food vision and values. Using Ocean
Wise and organic when possible or just from local as much as possible, these are
just a few examples of this new food revolution that’s happening at UBC. The food that we have on campus is coming from this valley and it’s helping to
support the people that live and raise their families here. You want to make sure that
people know how much we appreciate being part of this community and that we are
this community as well.
