Nutella French Toast Rolls | One Pot Chef

golden and gorgeous and sweet to the core definitely not for regular consumption but if you’re looking for something sweet and naughty for breakfast and this is the one to make let’s make some Nutella french toast rolls on the one pot chef first I’ve got six slices of regular sandwich bread and we’re just going to cut the crusts off using a rolling pin I just want you to flatten each piece of bread till it’s just nice and flat take each rolled out piece of bread and spread it with that beautiful Nutella chocolate hazelnut spread and gently roll it up to make a nice little roll then continue on with the rest next I’m going to make a little bit of cinnamon sugar all I’m going to do is combine two tablespoons of white sugar with about a teaspoon heaped teaspoon of ground cinnamon and just mix those together that cinnamon sugar aside for the moment in another little bowl I’ve got one egg and I’m just gonna add in a small splash of milk probably about a tablespoon or so and using a fork we’re just going to beat the egg and milk together until we get a nice runny mixture and we are just about ready to start making our french toast rolls we’re all set up ready to fry these up I’ve got my fry pan over a medium heat and I’ve just got a little bit of butter probably about 20 grams roughly and yes I am frying these in butter but let’s face facts we’re not making a salad here we’re making something rather naughty I don’t recommend having this up on a regular basis but it’s good nonetheless once that butter is melted and bubbly we’re gonna dip each one in turn these little french toast rolls into the egg mixture shake off any excess and place it straight into the pan and just keep going with the rest get them all nice and coated in the egg mixture you don’t to let them soak or anything just get them nice and coated and let these to cook for about a minute per side or until they’re nice and golden all over last but not least we’re just going to roll each of the french toast rolls in the cinnamon sugar them nice encoded and here we have our completed nutella french toast rolls looking absolutely gorgeous I cannot wait to give these a try these are just absolutely stunning I cannot wait to dive into this I probably should use a knife and fork but I mean heatproof fingers and no patience not explosion a beautiful warm chocolatey Nutella just burst in your mouth mm-hmm it’s beautiful and golden and slightly crisp you’ve got that lovely cinnamon sugar on the outside and all over my fingers YUM ridiculously decadent definitely want to try at least once in a lifetime well I hope you enjoyed this recipe check out my other videos at one-pot chef show comm and until next time see you later big thanks to my good friend and fellow youtuber miss Burpee who introduced me to this recipe and I’m sending you the hub attack bill

  1. Oh yeah this is a winner !!! I also love Nutella and pretzel sticks, the dipping kind. It may not be an Aussie thing but don't knock it till you've tried it lol :o)

  2. I made these with cream cheese as well (instead of Nutella). Worked very well.

Also made them with Nutella (very good).

    Thanks!

  3. I made these tonight and they came out really nice! I will be making these french toast rolls again. I did mine a little differently though, I didn't have Nutella so i used another chocolate hazelnut spread i had and for the butter I used a little bit of plain butter and honey cinnamon butter. DELICIOUS.

  9. I would have to leave off the egg part in the mixture. I can't eat french toast because I gag was even trying to put a bite in my mouth of French toast. So if I wanted to try the desert I would have to leave the egg out of it. It looks fabulous though!

  10. The minute I saw this I was so excited I thought I was having a heart attack… then I made and ate them… and then I had a heart attack. (Jokes, people. Just jokes.)

  11. Can't we bake these like the apple rolls? I've got no will power at all so I can't possibly make them cos I shall eat 'em!

  12. I literally made (and ate) 20 of these and now I feel sick……
