Tonight I needed a side dish for my
meatloaf. I’m Tess and I’m making oven roasted canned whole potatoes. Stay tuned. Canned potatoes are something either you
like or you really dislike. My family loves them! This is the Aldi’s canned whole
potatoes that I’ll be using but you can use the brand that you like. They also
come in sliced and diced potatoes. The canned potatoes are a nice quick go-to
side dish and tonight I’m seasoning and roasting the potatoes. In a bowl I have
some melted butter, salt, black pepper, garlic and onion powder, paprika for some
color and a little cayenne pepper for some heat ,and this is optional. Giving
that a good stir to combine. I rinsed and drained the potatoes. They
are cooked and basically just need heated through. Since they are cooked
don’t be too rough on them as they can fall apart.
Giving the potatoes a gentle toss to coat with all that buttered seasoning. I have a parchment-lined baking dish and I’m adding the potatoes and spreading out. I have the meatloaf already in the
oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit. These potatoes will bake for about 15 to 20
minutes and I’ll give them a good stir about halfway through. The meatloaf is my copycat version of
Cracker Barrell meatloaf and I must say it’s some of the best meatloaf I have
ever made. If you would like to see that video recipe I will leave a link here
and in the description box below. The Aldi’s canned whole potatoes are a nice
quick side dish. You can season them with any spices that you like. I hope you give
this quick and budget-friendly oven-roasted canned whole potatoes a try and
enjoy. If you like this video recipe please hit
