Pyaz Wala Paratha Recipe I How To Make Onion Paratha By Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi


Hello everyone I am Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi And everyone faces breakfast part But the recipe which I am making today Only on tadke pe tadka is the sunday focused breakfast When peope relax and eats And then exercises Where sunday is the cheat day This this is that sunday recipe I am making onion paratha And which onions? caramelized onions I am making with brown onions And the method of making is very unique First of all, for making dough I am making approx 2-3 paratha, and for that I am taking 2 cups wheat flour 1/2 tsp caron seeds 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp ginger chopped 2-3 green chilies chopped Salt to taste And don’t forget to do namak shamak namak shamak dal dete hai Add water as required mix well and make a dough out of it Add little bit of oil cover the dough with the tissue paper and keep it aside And now I will show you how to make that unique filling for this paratha I am using brown onions Use this crispy fried onions Add 4 tbsp brown onions Add 1 green chili chopped Add 1 tsp red chili powder Add 1/2 tsp cumin powder Add 1 tsp garam masala powder 1 tsp chaat masala powder 1/4 tsp salt 1 tbsp coriander chopped mix well Masala filling is ready place tawa to get pre-heat Now we will roll the paratha in a very unique way just work around with the dough after few minutes Make small balls from the dough The paratha which I am making is very punjabi style paratha Sprinkle some wheat flour on the table And roll it out Apply oil/ ghee and spread over sprinkle some wheat flour on top again Spread the masala onions filling mixture on it spread and press it well You can also roll it Fold it the way it is shown in the video fold it from all the 4 sides Sprinkle some wheat flour Roll it very carefully now Flip and roll flip and roll well, repeat the process till proper thin Our paratha is rolled and ready to get cook on tawa Place the paratha on the pre heated tawa This is called super hit malsala onions paratha Apply some oil and spread all over It is paratha so you can use oil/ ghee whatever you wish to apply Apply oil on another side as well Now my this paratha is all ready Sprinkle some chaat masala You can cut this paratha in 4 or 6 pieces Or you can cut into 2 pieces Or you can use the traditional method what punjabi people do You can crush this the way traditional punjabi paratha are served You can enjoy this paratha with curd/ yogurt Your sunday breakfast is full set now But don’t forget to run/ jogg and do exercise when eating his delicious recipes
